Edacity is operated by Edacity Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 09380627, with registered office at 76 Arden Way, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 7DD. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Edacity Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal information described here.

We use a small number of trusted providers (“processors”) to run Edacity. Each only handles your data to provide their service to us:
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We only share it where needed to provide a service to you, or where the law requires it.
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your choices, and measure how the site is used. When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link, or in your browser settings.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, financial records are typically kept for 6 years). When we no longer need it, we delete it or anonymise it.
Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where your information is transferred abroad, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law (such as the UK addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision).
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access a copy of your information; correct it; ask us to delete it; object to or restrict how we use it; withdraw consent; and ask for your information in a portable format. To use any of these, email contact@edacity.org and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Our services are sold to and used by adults — teachers, school leaders and organisations. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
